Tararua District Council subscribes to Generosity New Zealand's funding information tools, to provide accessibility to the public from any internet connection.

Only library members can access these databases.

To use givME or givUS FIRST create a free account here then: 

Within a library, click straight onto givMe or givUs.

At home, please log in to your library account first (top right) then you can access them.

Searching Select from the drop down lists of options to narrow the search to where you are based, what you want the money for, and a list will generate. 

Manawatu-Wanganui is the only region option available but the results do cover all of NZ.

 givME (individual funding)

givME offers access to more than 4,000 scholarships and grants for individuals.

It is for individuals seeking to pursue funding for education, research and fellowships, arts, cultural and sporting activities, career change, professional or personal development.

 givUS  (group funding)

givUS lists more than 1,200 resource schemes for communities, volunteer organisations, schools, groups, sport clubs and Iwi.

It may direct you to funding for operational costs, building redevelopment, project based resources and more.
